I developed a love for the written word and
by age 3 was reading by myself.
I wanted to know and read everything I could.
At age five I had my first nightmare. It
reminded me that life was sacred. I have a strange aversion to insects
ever since and cannot stand to have one crawl on me.
It was also age 5 that I jumped from the roof
because I thought I had remembered how to fly. Opps, one broken
collarbone - this planet is heavy!
By 4th grade I discovered ancient
history and began a life-long-love of science fiction. I was fascinated by
Ancient Egypt and studied all of the mythologies of the planet, investigating
religious beliefs and ways of being.
My hearing changed or my awareness increased
then too and I began to have retrospectively strange experiences.
It was confusing to suddenly start hearing two
voices at the same time talking from the same person. It was usually a second thought that
might even be contradictory to what was being openly expressed. At first, I thought that
everyone could do this.
In those days it was called ESP.
I joined
with a group of people who were exploring psychic abilities and played and had fun.
We
discovered that it was possible to move small light items by mind power alone.
We also
realized the added power of the group and could feel the effects of the group
"push". We played psychic games and started a form of psychic voice
mail. I had been interested in the Western Mystery Traditions and had begun to
spontaneously recall some past lives and had a few awesome dreams in other realms of
magical operation.
I had also begun by that time to study the
tarot, an ancient tool of divination. I found that I needed to study astrology too, and
then numerology to understand more of the tarot. One Teaching lead to Another Teaching.
Patterns Formed that today, over 30 years later, have been manifesting
wonderfully.
In 1981 I was already teaching and
counseling, but still hadn't figured out exactly how I knew the things I did. If I
were to summarize what happened by then, that is, what had I learned so far....
IT WORKS!
One of my personal blessings has been to meet
and to study with so many wonderfully gifted teachers, who have
inspired me to teach as well. This has brought great joy to my life.
In the 90's and with a company optimistically
named, Aquarian Age 2000, I began doing readings full time and sometimes 6 or 7 days a
week including private appointments.
Memories (and what happens to some
sensitives...)
Aquarian Age 2000 gathered together some 200
of us...
(Imagine being isolated then all of a sudden
- meeting ALL of these interesting people who were into some of the same things that you
were interested in!)
...they had rented a big space, and organized
us in shifts at the incredibly busy beginning. I still have contacts today from
that adventure. Many of that original family completely burned out, listening for 40
hrs a week to the problems of others.
For some of the lucky of us....
There were enough compensations to keep the
rest of us going. Special calls and connection to people who would never have before
thought of talking with a psychic reader. The more practice strengthened our skills and
together we learned and shared our special interests. The rest of us also were busily
engaged in furthering our studies and learning new skills and techniques for counseling
and healing. By that time my intuitive vision had opened and I was seeing auras. I went to
get training as a laying-on-of-hands healer. I was ordained in 1992 and began
learning to heal and channel. Quickly I found that as fast as I learned
something I was teaching it to someone. Teaching what I knew to others came naturally. I
have been fortunate to be able to help so many people already. I look forward with
confidence to the next century as we grow more into our light-bodies.
Update:
Now that we are moving into the year 2000 and beyond, it is time for
each of us to get much more in tune with our own inner harmonies. We do
not need to look outside as much as we do need to look inward. We are in
the process of becoming our own Highest Self and on this journey we need to
understand that we are in the right place at the right time with the right
people for the right reasons,. Look around you and see how your awareness
has grown. Then look inside and see the beauty that you are. As we
move thru 2002 we are purging that part of us that is unacceptable so that we
may be made anew. Each day remember courtesy and do something nice for at
