Moon

Moon is our emotional nature and takes on the attributes of the sign it was in at birth.  The Goddess of the Moon is Selene and she is represented by the High Priestess in the Tarot.  She governs memory and law.  In another tradition the Moon was male and then the God was Sin who was loyal to the Sun and good to his people.
